Web Critique - The Process
The aim is to evaluate your company's web site
from the customer's perspective. By 'customer' I mean both first-time
user and returning customer.
The web critique focuses on how the customer
interacts with your site and covers the following areas:
Finding the site
How easy is it to find your site if the user
does not know the address? |
|
|
First impressions
What is the user's overall first impression
of your site? |
|
|
Technical
Performance
Are the average page size and download times
acceptable?
|
|
|
'Look and
Feel'
What is the 'look and feel' of the site?
How does it appear? Includes aspects such as branding, layout, graphics,
etc. |
|
|
Navigation
How easy is it for users to find their way
around the site and locate the information they are looking for? |
|
|
Customer
Support
What information is there on the site to
help and guide the user? How easy is it to find? |
|
|
Customer
Relationship
Does you web site provide customers with
a way to interact with your company? For example, is the site personalised? |
